Due to continuing success and expansion Tridan are now recruiting for various skilled positions including CNC Turners, CNC Millers, a Quality Control Inspector and a CAD CAM Programmer.


CNC Turner


Job duties would include:

  • Set and run CNC Lathes to operate at maximum output within safety guidelines.

  • Be able to inspect own work.

  • Carry out basic maintenance of machine.

  • Deburring of comps, in cycle where possible.

  • Able to read drawings and relevant information.

  • Update tooling sheets and record cycle times.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety.

There are various shift patterns available with good rates of pay.


CNC Miller:


Job duties would include:

  • Set and run CNC machines to operate at maximum output within safety guidelines.

  • Be able to inspect own work

  • Carry out basic maintenance of machine.

  • Deburring of comps, in cycle where possible.

  • Able to read drawings and relevant information.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety.

There are various shift patterns available with good rates of pay.


Quality Control Inspector:


Job duties would include:

  • CMM programming and operation.

  • Goods in, 1st off, in process and final inspections, calibration and monthly supplier vendor rating review.

  • FAIR preparation.

  • The upkeep and maintenance of the filing system for the retention of inspection records.

  • Problem solving in conjunction with other departments.

  • Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings and inspections.

  • Calibration knowledge.

  • Knowledge of measuring equipment.

  • Knowledge of machining techniques.

  • Knowledge of various materials.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety.

CAD CAM Programmer


Job duties would include:

  • To create CNC machining programmes from customer models and drawings using CAD/CAM software, also provide technical support to the management team and other departments.

  • To publish all associated paperwork to accompany the CNC machining programmes so that a comprehensive package of work instructions is issued to production.

  • The design of suitable fixturing and tooling will also be required.

  • To ensure the safe and efficient use of company resources.

  • Ensure all company data associated with the CNC machine tools is to correct issue status and reflects the current working status

  • Ensure compiled CNC programs are efficient, in time and tooling use is kept to minimum to reduce costs.

  • Adherence to company / industry standards, accreditations and customer requirements.

  • Overall responsibility for the machining processes and strategies employed to ensure components are right first time and of a high quality.

  • Support all other departments with advice and technical assistance where appropriate.
